This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use atautoparts.co.uk or buy from us, how we use it and the rights you have.

Who we are

The data controller responsible for your personal information is AT AUTO & SPARES LTD, trading as AT Auto Parts, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17176482. Registered office: Unit 1 Main Road, Tydd Gote, Wisbech, United Kingdom, PE13 5QD. For any privacy question or request, email info@atautoparts.co.uk.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number and what you bought.
• Account details: if you create an account, your login details and order history.
• Messages: anything you send us through our contact form, by email or by phone, such as vehicle details for a fitment check.
• Website use: technical information such as your IP address, browser and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Card and payment details are entered directly with our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.

How we use it and why

• To process and deliver your order, handle returns and answer your questions. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
• To keep financial and tax records, which we are legally required to do.
• To send marketing emails, only if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
• To run, secure and improve our website and advertising, based on our legitimate interests or, where the law requires it, your consent.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with service providers who help us run the shop, and only as much as they need:

• Payment providers: WooPayments, PayPal, Amazon Pay and Dojo, to take payment and prevent fraud.
• Delivery: ShipStation and the couriers we use, to send your order.
• Email marketing: Klaviyo, if you have signed up for emails.
• Advertising and measurement: Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Reddit and Snapchat, to show our products and measure how our adverts perform.
• Website hosting: IONOS, which hosts our website.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law. We never sell your personal information. We may also share information where the law requires us to.

Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the shop to work, for example to remember what is in your basket and keep you logged in. Our advertising and measurement partners listed above may also use cookies and similar technologies to measure how our adverts perform.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for six years, to meet our legal and tax obligations. We keep marketing details until you unsubscribe, and other messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to have it transferred to you or someone else, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To make a request, email info@atautoparts.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
