These terms apply to every order you place on atautoparts.co.uk. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you agree to them.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by AT AUTO & SPARES LTD, trading as AT Auto Parts (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17176482. Our registered office is Unit 1 Main Road, Tydd Gote, Wisbech, United Kingdom, PE13 5QD.
You can contact us by email at info@atautoparts.co.uk or by phone on 07429827113. When you place an order on this website, your contract is with AT AUTO & SPARES LTD.
2. Placing an order
When you place an order, we will email you to acknowledge it. That email does not mean we have accepted your order. A contract between us is formed when we email you to confirm your order has been dispatched. If we cannot accept your order, for example because an item is out of stock or there is an error in the price or description, we will tell you and refund any payment you have made.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). The total you pay is the price shown at checkout, including the delivery charge, before you confirm your order. We accept payment by debit and credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Amazon Pay. Payments are processed by these providers; we do not store your full card details.
If a price on our website is clearly wrong, we are not obliged to sell at that price. We will contact you before dispatch to ask whether you want to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
4. Delivery
We currently deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only. Delivery charges and estimated times are set out in our Shipping Policy. Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us.
5. Checking fitment and fitting parts
It is your responsibility to check that a part is suitable for your vehicle before you order. If you are unsure, contact us with your vehicle registration or exact make, model, engine and year before you buy and we will help you check. Many parts, especially performance parts, should be fitted by a qualified mechanic. Some modifications must be declared to your insurer.
6. Off-road and motorsport parts
Some products, such as decat pipes and nitrous kits, are sold for off-road and motorsport use only and are marked as such on the product page. Fitting them to a vehicle used on public roads may make it unroadworthy, cause it to fail its MOT or break the law. If you buy these products, you are responsible for using them lawfully.
7. Your right to cancel and return
If you are buying as a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive the goods, without giving a reason. We also offer a longer 30-day returns period. How to cancel, what can be returned and how refunds work are set out in our Returns & Refunds policy.
8. Faulty or incorrect goods
If you are a consumer, the goods we sell must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If an item is faulty or not as described, contact us and we will put it right under your rights in the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which may mean a repair, replacement or refund. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
9. Our responsibility to you
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by incorrect fitting, by using a part on a vehicle it was not intended for, or by using off-road parts on a public road. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
10. Business customers
If you buy as a business, such as a garage, the 14-day cancellation right does not apply to you, although our 30-day returns policy does. We will not be liable to business customers for loss of profit, loss of business or any indirect or consequential loss.
11. Your personal information
We use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page when you placed it.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@atautoparts.co.uk so we can try to resolve it.
